Lifelong Learners
What if you could take a free online class from the Curtis Institute of Music, would you go for it? Now you can, thanks to Coursera! I recently found out about these courses while reading an article in the New York Times
about a class that the Curtis Institute had offered this summer that
had attracted more than 25,000 people. So I am enrolled for the next
one that begins in a few days, “From the Repertoire: Western Music History through Performance.”
There are two tracks for the class, one for people who have little or
no experience with music and another one for musicians. Check it out if
you are interested, there are also tons of other courses being offered
on a variety of different topics and by other institutions.
