Starting the New Season!

Wow, it's been such a great start to the 2022-2023 orchestra season! Performances this month included The Riverfront Jazz Festival with the Dallas Symphony, our season opener with Monroe Symphony, a concert with the San Angelo Symphony, and a woodwind quintet performance. It's always such a pleasure to perform great music with wonderful people!

I also had a chance to present master classes at several high schools as well as two sessions at UT Tyler for their All-State workshops. We had a marvelous time discussing practice and audition strategies while working through each of the etudes. Both the materials for TMEA and ATSSB All-State were covered and everyone did an amazing job! If you need a little help with your All-State or Region etudes, check out my YouTube channel for both Bb soprano and bass clarinet videos of the etudes or feel free to reach out to schedule a lesson. Happy performing and practicing!
